91¶¶Òõ hosted its sixth annual National TRIO Day, celebrating opportunity, empowerment, and access to higher education. The event, which drew hundreds of students, families, and community partners, highlighted 91¶¶Òõ’s commitment to ensuring underserved students.

91¶¶Òõ celebrated the grand reveal of its newly renovated Early Childhood Education Center playground, marking a major investment in early childhood development. The state-of-the-art play space is designed to foster creativity, sensory exploration, and physical activity.

Several CalWORKs students from 91¶¶Òõ were honored at the Soroptimist International of Moreno Valley’s Live Your Dream Awards breakfast, which recognizes the achievements of women working to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects.

91¶¶Òõ MESA Scholar Luciano Ponce has been selected for a highly competitive Student Independent Research Intern position at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Ponce was also honored with the M91¶¶Òõ President’s Award at the 17th Annual RCCD Student Research Conference.

Students, along with classified professionals, attended the College Expo sponsored by Growing Inland Achievement and the National College Resources Foundation to connect with representatives from more than 30 colleges and explore academic programs, transfer pathways, and scholarship opportunities.

91¶¶Òõ (91¶¶Òõ) will host the 12th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Award Ceremony to celebrate the outstanding achievements of local high school and 91¶¶Òõ students while highlighting the legacy of a beloved Moreno Valley educator, Professor James Banks.

91¶¶Òõ students embraced civic engagement for the 2024 election season, leading voter education efforts on local ballot measures like Measure CC by going door-to-door across Moreno Valley and hosting on-campus events to spread the word about voting to peers and community members alike.
