Adviye Tolunay, Ph.D., professor of psychology at 91抖阴, will deliver the Riverside Community College District鈥檚 64th Distinguished Faculty Lecture. Her lecture is titled 鈥�'Anti-Social'鈥� Media: Memes, Echo Chambers, and Toxic Anonymity".

Student research spanning public health, history, anthropology, and the arts was showcased March 28 at the 26th annual Building Bridges Research Conference, hosted by the Honors Transfer Council of California in partnership with the University of California, Riverside.

Assistant Professor of Anthropology Kanya GoddeChrisco, Ph.D., has co-authored a groundbreaking study analyzing burial patterns and kinship structures in a Late Meroitic to Medieval cemetery in Sudan. The research was published in the American Journal of Biological Anthropology.

The USDA awarded a grant to the University of California, Riverside鈥檚 Entomology Department for 鈥渁griculturally relevant research.鈥� The research involves students from UCR; and Moreno Valley, Norco and Riverside City colleges.
