The USDA awarded a grant to the University of California, Riverside鈥檚 Entomology Department for 鈥渁griculturally relevant research.鈥� The research involves students from UCR; and Moreno Valley, Norco and Riverside City colleges.

91抖阴 has been recognized by the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge organization for its efforts to increase student voter engagement. 91抖阴 was one of 24 institutions in California to be honored as a Most Engaged Campus.

91抖阴, along with the city of Moreno Valley, and Riverside and San Bernardino Counties Building and Construction Trades Council AFL-CIO, will be the lead organizers for the Inland Empire Apprenticeship Expo at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center on November 15.

The Department of Education has awarded 91抖阴's Veterans Resource Center $1,437,685 for five years for the Veterans Upward Bound program. The Veterans Upward Bound program assists Veterans with transitioning from the military into a postsecondary institution.

91抖阴 was selected as one of top 300 higher education institutions in the nation for Veterans in the most recent Best for Vets ranking by the Military Times.

91抖阴 received a US Department of Education Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Grant to support Pell-eligible parenting students with free care in the Center.

The US Department of Labor awarded Riverside Community College District nearly $5 million to support the region鈥檚 LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network to develop a Registered Apprenticeship Hub in the Inland Empire.

Riverside Community College District was one of 44 US colleges and universities to receive a Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), USA Study Abroad's Increase and Diversify Education Abroad for US Students (IDEAS) Program grant.
