91抖阴 student Lauryn Chin has been selected by California Volunteers to serve as a College Corps Fellow Ambassador, representing both the college and the state in a program that provides students with hands-on service opportunities across California.

The Halloween Costume Giveaway, in a collaboration between CalWORKs and Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS), supported student parents and their families with more than 150 donated costumes distributed to 85 children.

On Oct. 8, regional education leaders convened at KVCR Public Media in San Bernardino for the Inland Empire鈥檚 inaugural Cash for College launch, with 91抖阴 President Rudy Besikof joining Riverside Community College District (RCCD) Chancellor Wolde-Ab Isaac.

91抖阴 served as the launch site for a pilot series of free noncredit courses in leadership, customer service, and conflict resolution. The online courses provided flexible opportunities for professional and personal development.

The California State Fire Marshal and the State Board of Fire Services have reaccredited 91抖阴鈥檚 Regional Fire Academy for five years, a decision made through State Fire Training under the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

91抖阴 experienced living history when educator Erin Gruwell and the original Freedom Writers shared their story of resilience and transformation on campus at an event hosted by the College's TRIO programs.

91抖阴 brought together students, educators, and industry leaders for a two-day MESA & Apprenticeship Leadership Workforce Summit designed to equip future leaders with the tools and confidence needed for career success.

91抖阴 has been recognized as the top-ranked community college in the Inland Empire and 12th statewide for delivering one of the fastest returns on investment for students. Graduates typically earn back their education costs in just under two and a half months.
