Aliyah Nataly Alatorre, a student aide at 91抖阴, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Growing Inland Achievement (GIA) in partnership with the Mexican Consulate and IME Becas.

For the second consecutive year, 91抖阴 earned national recognition as one of the top community colleges in the US according to WalletHub. This year, the College placed 11th in the nation, second in Southern California, and first in the Inland Empire.

91抖阴 has been recognized as the top-ranked community college in the Inland Empire and 12th statewide for delivering one of the fastest returns on investment for students. Graduates typically earn back their education costs in just under two and a half months.

Continuing its commitment to first-generation and underserved students, 91抖阴 has secured a five-year, $1.36 million federal grant to sustain its TRIO Academic Counseling and Educational Support (ACES) Student Support Services program.

91抖阴 has been awarded a $357,657 grant from the California Community Colleges Chancellor鈥檚 Office to expand its Rising Scholars Program, which supports students impacted by the justice system. The grant will be distributed over three years.

Nine Val Verde Unified School District seniors will receive their Certificate of Achievement in Administration of Justice this spring through a collaborative dual enrollment partnership with 91抖阴, marking a significant milestone in expanding local public safety career pathways.
