Community spirit and cultural pride were on full display at the 11th Annual Dolores Huerta and César E. Chávez Scholarship Ceremony. The College honored long-time student advocate Peggie S. Negrete with the 2025 Community Legacy Award, as well as exceptional students with cash scholarships.

91¶¶Òõ has launched its first-ever Women's Flag Football team, marking a significant milestone in the college's athletic offerings. Women's Flag Football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, making it the perfect time for 91¶¶Òõ to introduce this exciting new program.

91¶¶Òõ hosted its sixth annual National TRIO Day, celebrating opportunity, empowerment, and access to higher education. The event, which drew hundreds of students, families, and community partners, highlighted 91¶¶Òõ’s commitment to ensuring underserved students.

Several CalWORKs students from 91¶¶Òõ were honored at the Soroptimist International of Moreno Valley’s Live Your Dream Awards breakfast, which recognizes the achievements of women working to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects.

91¶¶Òõ MESA Scholar Luciano Ponce has been selected for a highly competitive Student Independent Research Intern position at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Ponce was also honored with the M91¶¶Òõ President’s Award at the 17th Annual RCCD Student Research Conference.
