91¶¶Òõ recognizes employees and contributors through several awards and recognition programs that highlight service, leadership, and contributions to the College community.

CLASSY Awards

Monthly Recognition for Classified Professionals
The CLASSY Awards recognize classified professionals each month who demonstrate 91¶¶Òõ’s LIONS values through outstanding service, collaboration, leadership, and support for students and colleagues. Honorees are nominated by peers and celebrated for the positive impacts they make.

Classified Employee of the Year

Annual Recognition for Classified Professionals

The Classified Employee of the Year Award honors classified professionals whose exceptional commitment, professionalism, and leadership leave a lasting impact on Moreno Valley College and the broader community.

Faculty of the Year

Annual Student Vote for Outstanding Faculty

Selected through the annual student body election process, the Faculty of the Year award recognizes a faculty member who has made a meaningful impact on students through teaching, mentorship, support, and dedication to 91¶¶Òõ.

Distinguished Faculty Lecturer

Annual Recognition Award for Faculty

Established in 1961, the Distinguished Faculty Lecturer recognition is the highest honor faculty bestow on a colleague. Selected through a nomination and review process led by the RCCD Academic Senate, the recognition celebrates distinguished achievement in teaching, scholarship, leadership, and service. As part of the districtwide rotation process, one 91¶¶Òõ faculty member is selected to lecture every three years.
